Really sorry to see the image placement and formatting go - it was the best thing about Medium's look and feel and was, as far I know, unique. Not to mention the fact that the retroactive "deprecation" has rendered past articles that were deliberately laid out this way clunkier, uglier, and less intelligible. Bad move.
